Privacy Policy
The Ritual Buff app is built to work entirely on your device. This page describes, in plain terms, what that means for your data.
What we collect
In the app: nothing. The Ritual Buff app does not collect personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, location data, or any other data from you or your device. The app does not have a user account, login, or registration.
Website analytics
The Ritual Buff website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. This website analytics is separate from the app: it does not receive your ritual sessions, optional input text, saved Atlas, device identifiers, account data, or email address.
What stays on your device
The app stores the following on your device only, using iOS local preferences and file storage:
- Onboarding completion flag
- Settings (haptics on/off, motion on/off)
- Sessions you have started or completed (the chosen ritual, your optional input text, the time, your feedback if any)
- Rituals you have saved to your Atlas
- The currently active ritual session, so the app can resume it if you close and reopen
This data never leaves your device. We have no way to access it.
Sharing
The “Share Card” feature uses your operating system's built-in share sheet. When you tap it, your device gives you control over what is shared, where, and with whom. We do not see, log, or transmit anything you share.
If you tap “Send Feedback” in Settings, the app opens your mail app with a prefilled message containing the app version and platform name. Sending the email is your choice. The address it is sent to is the developer's personal mailbox; it is used only to read your feedback.
Third parties
The Ritual Buff app includes no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app's only third-party code dependencies are Flutter framework libraries used for storage, file paths, sharing, and version display — none of which transmit user data.
Children
Ritual Buff is intended for general audiences and rated 4+. The app contains no advertisements, in-app purchases, or social features. We do not knowingly collect app data from anyone, including children, because the app does not collect personal data.
Removal
You can clear all locally stored data at any time from Settings → “Clear Local History”. Uninstalling Ritual Buff from your device removes all locally stored data. There is nothing left behind on any app server because no app data was ever sent anywhere.
Changes
If we change this policy, the “Effective” date above will change. If a future version of Ritual Buff ever adds any form of data collection, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated to match.
